Skyfall Research: Official Soundtrack
This is the official soundtrack for Skyfall. It is preformed by Adele, who thought of this as a important milestone in her career, as the soundtrack is often an iconic feature of a Bond film. This raised further support for the film, as many Adele fans were introduced to the film, through hearing the news of Adele being chosen to preform the theme song. Unfortunately there is no official video out for this soundtrack yet.
Skyfall Research: Interviews
These images were taken by me of an advert on MTV showing interviews with some members of the Skyfall cast.
Skyfall Research: Official Trailer
Although released on the 26th October, Skyfall trailers have been advertising on many different websites since as early as 21st May. This trailer was issued later on the 31st July, as one strategy of the marketing team was to release a series of trailers over a couple of months. This has the effect of arousing interest from viewers who watch these trailers on the TV or internet. Another reason why this trailer was released later, is because it was meant for an American audience. This is seen at the end of the trailer, where the official release date for the film is stated as the 9th November, the official release date for the film in the USA.
Skyfall Research: Billboard Poster
This was taken by me outside of City and Islington College. This is a great Ad campaign as part of the marketing for Skyfall, because this poster is on a billboard which means it can viewed by a range of people, including pedestrians and people driving by. It is also right outside a College, which means that it will also be viewed daily and begin to both stir and build the interest of the younger generation who are more likely to visit the cinema more frequently.
Skyfall Research: The Premiere
These pictures were featured on X-factor, as the contestants received tickets to go to the Skyfall premiere. This is an example of both 'Marketing' and 'Distribution', because a premiere is one form of distribution. It is also an example of marketing, because they were guaranteed a larger fan base by having X-factor contestants present, as this would further encourage X-factor viewers, families, friends and supporters to attend as well. Another reason why it is an example of marketing is because it was also featured on X-factor, which is a programme watched by millions of viewers, and in turn will increases it's publicity.
Research on Swedes: Inception Sweded
I enjoyed this swede because the way in which they used they're props was inventive and mirrored the way in which CGI and graphics were used in the actual film. The acting added an element of comedy captured my interest and added to my enjoyment. There is a scene in which toy cars are used, which reminded me of the use of a toy in car in my groups swede.
